Park Avenue Analog OnStar

Park Avenue Analog OnStar
Despite GM'* insistence that their analog OnStar can't be upgraded to digital under any circumstances, I recently discovered that the 2000-2002 Bonneville, Aurora, and LeSabre can be upgraded now. I entered some 2000/1 Aurora and LeSabre VINs on the OnStar website to verify and yes, it'* true!
But not the premium GM sedans like DeVille, Seville, and Park Avenue. And no GMT 900s, GMT 360s, N-bodies, or W-bodies.
Why?

I'm not sure who you were talking to, but GM has not taken the position that their analog OnStar can't be upgraded. It is vehicle dependant as upgrade kits are not offered for all models. There is however a long list of vehicles eligible, including 2000+ Bonnevilles.

Keep in mind, only vehicles already equipped with OnStar are eligible for the upgrade.
