Hey guys, so my a/c wasnt working and today i finally had a chance to get a compressor from the jy and get it back running again.. Its working and blowing cool, but only on the passenger side of the car. The driver side vents blow a warm. I use the recirculatioj setting to keep the coolness in and it works after it gets cool enough inside to change it but that takes a little time. Anyone have this problem? Or know how to fix it?

If you have it on non-AC vent does it blow out of the driver'* side vents?

It blows out the vents on both, heat and a/c.. But on a/c it doesnt blow cool on the driver side. It only blows cool through the passenger vents. Driver vents just blow air..
There was a post about this once before but i cant find it.

Ok let me start from the beginning, a little after buying the car i had this annoying metal scraping sound coming from under the hood... Further inspection led me to believe either the a/c compressor or clutch was bad... In turn i took it to the shop had the system evacuated got home n pulled it off and installed the bypass, & plugged the a/c lines. Now that its getting hot and having this 88 degree weather here, i decided to get the a/c system back working and went and got a compressor from the junk yard, installed it on the car, then took it to the shop. Then told em the sistuation and he then put if i remember correctly oil & refrigerant, then checked for leaks using a uv light. It blows ice cold on the passenger vents which is where we both were reaching in to check the temperture and he put a temp guage in the vent.. When finished i turned it off because i didnt need it just wanted the system working. But when i needed it i then noticed it was blowing hot air in my face, but only on the drivers side. The passenger side & rear vents are cold.. So the system
Is working just not out the driver vents im getting the air from outside.

I think we have the same same controller.
Set temp to 60F, then to auto, it should then select "Mid" or all dash middle vents.
If it is still blowing warm air on driver side, it probably has to do with that actuator not working correctly.
