Lucerne 2006 Need help with door pillar applique replacement
I have an '06 Lucerne CXL. There are small dings in both of the black front door pillar appliques. I already ordered new ones from GM Parts Giant. Is there a tutorial to keep me from ruining the exterior window sill bright trim? There is a single small sheet metal screw that releases one side of the sill. (The applique is tucked under the sill and wrapped in weatherstripping.) Does anyone know if there is a trick to getting that sill loose?
Thanks!

Typically they have a pin or piece they slide over on the other end. Once the screw is out that'* usually the ticket. If not, holler and I should be able to find more on it.
BTW, would you post a picture of your wheels. Thanks

Thanks bill- The sill seems to be gripping all the way along the frame, which I guess is a good thing. If feels like a snap in arrangement, but can't be too sure. Nothing visible on the far end by the side view mirror. I'll go ahead and remove the mirror assembly (it'* only one screw) and see what'* under there. I'll report back and snap a pic or two for this post, if someone else needs to see...
10-4 on the car pic. I need to snap some shots. It'* a beauty. I went from a Mercedes E420 into the CXL, and except for the loss of about 80HP, I'm not let down at all. LOL! Couldn't find a low mileage CXS with that V8.
