Default Help me Find the EGR valve

'89 Buick Century. Getting MAF sensor error (code 34 (and no, not the MAP 34, this car has no MAP). Runs extremely rich....can't get it to stay running. But I sure as hell CANNOT find the EGR. I have looked all around the intake....it'* almost as if this car doesn't have one.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure where it'* located, but should be on a exhaust manifold. Here are some images of it and hope that helps you locate it. I found 2 different styles.

Is it possible that this car doesn't have an EGR valve? I have looked EVERYWHERE for this friggin valve and simply cannot find it. Only vacuum lines I trace go to other things, but no EGR valve found. I am staying with a blocked Cat on this car as the problem.

Take a look on (or grope around) the firewall side of your intake manifold. You'll only see/feel the gold part of the EGR in Dan'* first picture. It'* back there somewhere.

I know some 92 Bonnevilles didn't have the EGR. It'* possible that you don't, that'* about the time they were tossing various emissions things on and off trying to make the government happy and having a horrible time with the cars.

You fail to list the engine you have.
