Ever have one of those days???
I went today to a GM dealer to get 4 new tires (they price matched Tire Rack'* price and got a 4 Wheel alignment free. $412.73 out the door). I got a set Bridgestone Insignia SE200. They look great. So as I'm going home getting off the parkway people are honking and waving at me. I dunno maybe they like my new tires or something, so I just wave back! So I get to a light and the guy behind me gets out of his truck and tells me my tire is flat. So in less than 30 miles I have a flat tire. This ever happen to anyone? My friend thinks maybe when I hit a bump I popped the bead. Honestly I don't know, and I'm like ready to go back up there and take 4 new wheels and tires and put them on my car (just kidding officer)!! Like seriously I take my GM car to a GM dealer to do a simple tire change and this happens?
We put the spare on (that of course had barely any air in it) drive it up the block and put air in both tires. Get to his house 15 miles away. Air still in new tire so we remount it. Drive 10 miles home (checking pressure every mile) all seems fine. Can't hear any leaking. And cant see any air bubbles when I sprayed it with soapy water. Anyone have any idea?
