Aftermarket seats for Buicks
Looking for good, comfortable aftermarket seats for my 2006 Lacrosse - front and back. I've love to hear from someone whose done this.
Last year, my 14YO daughter had two rods inserted into her back to correct severe scoliosis. The fabric seats are fine for me but don't have much give, making lengthier rides uncomfortable for her. Front and back seats that are a little deeper, more give, maybe something with a faux leather is what I'm thinking but open to other choices.
I've only seen Recaro. They appear to have a vendor with a showroom not that far from me but I don't see anything they make for rear seats. Thoughts and suggestions encouraged.
Thank you.

It'* not often that someone asks for softer seats in a Buick. I think your best bet would be to have an upholstery shop do something for you. If it were me, I'd get a set of seats from another 2006 Lacrosse like yours from a junkyard, take them and the car to an upholstery shop, and have them re-upholster the junkyard seats like they are from a 1973 LeSabre. You need to have the car there so the shop can make sure the extra cushioning doesn't interfere with the other parts and features of the car. You need junkyard seats so that you can put the original seats back in when you go to sell the car someday.
Your other alternative would be to add some kind of seat cover, but a seat cover with that much cushioning added would probably always be a problem.

Sure thing CC. What I would be curious to know is if seats from other GM models are compatible with the '06 Lacrosse.
I unsuccessfully attempted to look on GM Parts Direct website and cross-reference part numbers. At the same time, I also recognize GM parts numbers change through the years.

I believe the 2006-2015 Impala shares the platform. I can't speak to how well Impala seats fit with the Buick door and console trim of a LaCrosse, but they should more-or-less bolt in place and connect electrical, with odds of incompatibility increasing as model years become farther apart.
