I got a used transmission that was supposed to have been tested. I changed the fluid and filter and installed it . It started right up after six months of sitting. It still runs a little rough. Before the tyranny swap I had a few trouble codes like tcc-pwm solenoid, a small leak detected in evap and a few others. After the switch I have 40 trouble codes like won't sift 3rd and fourth ,
won't shift one and two
tcc-pwm solenoid
O2 sensors
Knock sensors
and so on.
Do I need to reset the ecu or something. Please help

We don't have a way to answer this at this time. I would guess the ECU is fine and some amount of other things are wrong with it.

Right now we have: Grandpa'* feeling some pains since surgery.

What we need: Grandpa felt pains in his chest, head, back, and knees. Then he got his knees replaced. Now he feels pains in his chest, back, one knee, and he is saying that someone stabbed him in the ribs.

here'* what'* going on. I was trying to get it smog check and it passed then the mechanic spotted a piece of tape on a hose and took tape off and seen a small split on hose and failed the test. Drove home and parked the car got said hose 4 days later then drove back to smog check place same mechanic all he had to do was pass the visual part but he ran full smog check and it failed. So I put new o2 sensors in Mas sensor map sensor pvc valve new plugs new air filter. My car was idling eradical transmission started slipping I was about 45 .miles from home so I kept driving and got almost home going up a hill and barely made it. Got home and noticed a wet spot on driveway found out it was trans fluid so I pulled the pan and there was metal shavings I mean a lot of powder metal in the black fluid . I can't afford to have trans rebuild so only option was a used one. Car sat with no battery for six months. Finally got used trany put new fluid and filter cleaned trans cooler lines installed trans.

It also appears that your replacement transmission came with issues . . . or possibly that the wiring towards that transmission has issues.
