blowing the dust off this one again.

My buddy finally got the money to get all the new parts/gaskets rounded up, so we started on the buildup. He basically knows nothing about cars, this build was entirely in my hands with him being my bitch.

Considering this car was down to the short block in the car, I was very impressed to hear the car start and RUN tonight after 2 consecutive nights of working on it.

*wipes sweat off brow*

another L67 back on the road tomorrow after a oil change, coolant flush, etc...!

Daang. That sounds insane. Good to know it runs again, but what the heck caused the overheating and no heat? WP?

No heat is a pretty good indicator of an air pocket in the engine. Is the thermostat drilled? After flushing, was it re-filled with coolant at the thermostat opening?
