Default 95 buick century headlights/dashlights dead.

Headlights and dashlights died, replaced dimmer switch and headlight switch, they will function from time to time but not reliability enough for nighttime driving.

Searching mentions a headlight relay and a circuit breaker but ive not yet been able to find a location for either one, anybody have a clue where to look?

You have DRL? The module may be going bad. I have the factory info for it.

No daytimes, just standard lights.

Ran across another thread talking about a lamp control module but it wasnt very specific as to where it was located.

Do you have a wire color diagram from the headlight switch back to the battery? Hopefully with its ground as well.

Heres what i have:

Headlight switch labeled A though F connector side

A. Brown wire feeds to Dimmer switch
B. Empty
C. red wire +12v feed
D. Yellow wire ???
E. Orange wire ???
F. Empty

Headlight switch off position:

Continuity between B to C all others no connections

Headlight switch park position:
Continuity between A to E, B to C

Headlight switch park and light position
Continuity between A to E, B to C, B to D, C to D

Dimmer switch labeled A through D connector side

A. lt green blk stripe high beam/high beam indicator
B. Black ground
C. Tan low beam
D. Brown from headlight switch

Dimmer switch off position: no Continuity

Dimmer switch max position: A to D

Dimmer switch full on position: A to D, B to C.

incan set my multimeter to 20v DC and go from headlight switch C 12v to the body and get 12.83vdc

I can go from dimmer switch B ground to the body and have continuity

I can go from headlight switch C 12v to Dimmer switch B ground in 20v DC mode and get 12.83vdc

The second in turn on the headlight switch i lose that 12.83v
