I have this 94 buick regal custom 3.8. The battery is totally dead after sitting in packing through the weekend. It happened last weekend. I had it jumped and drove the whole week daily to and from work without problem. It is dead this weekend again and I checked everything, lights, radio, to make sure they are off. What could be the problem? The car has about 137K miles on it. Thanks.

Things like the leveling system can stick on and drain the battery, as well as after market alarms. To help track it down I say pull a fuse or two when you park it for the weekend. If the battery is not dead, you have narrowed it down to that system. Then it'* a mater of checking the wires in that system. Things like relays can stick and drain as well.

Thanks for the reply. What'* the leveling system? And also could it be the alternator?

Some cars come with a automatic ride level.

I don't suspect the alternator because you said it stays charged all week, but dies on the weekend when the car is parked longer. This tells me something keeps draining.

I will do more research on automatic ride level. Thanks.
