2001 Lesabre Heater Core
Hello Everyone ,
Today I saw some coolant on the car carpet , under the glove box .
I think my Heater Core need to replaced .
to replace it I need to take out all the dashboard or only the glove box ?
I need to some advice or guide how to this ..

Today i tried to get the heater core with no successfull .
i looked for the screws that mentiond in the guide and i don't find them .
probably i need to remove the dash/metal shield .
somebody have more specific guide to this job ?

If the All Data instructions, are not specific enough for you, you will have to go to a Buick dealership and have them print the procedure for you....you should expect to pay a nominal fee for ink and paper...

That guide was difficult to follow and took a while to figure out where to start.
I have some pictures that i took while i was in there and will have to take some more in the footwells to help you out.
First of all you need special hose clamp pliers to get to the hoses off the heater core at the firewall. Astro 9409a are the decent value in these. Get the black and blue ones, they are the latest update. http://www.amazon.com/Astro-Pneumatic-9409A-Clamp-Pliers/dp/B003D3N7YW
I don't have time now but maybe in a day or two can post up the pictures.
This job was a pain and there is one screw that is so hard to get to that the factory manual says not to install it. Be ready to use at least a day on this.
