2000 Buick Century - dripping bubble on the rear view mirror
Hey folks , this is my first time using the site... I wonder if anyone is familiar with the rear view mirror ( auto darkening ) with built in reading lights. My problem started when I noticed a "bubble" - discoloration on the mirror surface . It then became bigger ( 3rd of the surface),
then came a black ,ink like substance from one of the light switch buttons (dripping onto my leather). Is this problem( mirror) fixable? What are the odds of finding a replacement at a wreckers? And maybe a ballpark on a new one...
Thanks, Brinker.

Welcome to the forum. I have a 2002 Century with the autodim. I haven't had your problem, but I don't think I want to. lol. I was looking at them on ebay, cause I have a problem with the wires going to mine, and they're on there for around $50, but you could probably get them at a wrecker cheaper. I would assume most of the gm vehicles from the late 90s and early 2000s have the same type of mirror. If not, i'm positive the 1997-2005 regal and centuries have them. I'm not really sure how much a new one would cost..but I doubt its very cheap

Welcome to the forum, Brinker. Can you show us a picture of this?
I'm also going to move your thread into the Buick section; all of the Century nuts hang out there.
