Default 1995 Park Avenue questions

Well, I just traded with my mom, my 94 Century (3.1) for her 95 Park Avenue (3.8 ). I love this car, its so huge and comfy, plus its got tons more power over my old 3.1. Don't suggest any mods, as I'm not going to do any. I'm saving for an offroading truck right now (Hopefully a fullsize blazer). Anyways, theres a few problems, and I plan to keep this for when I go away to college next year, so I want it running mint. I know what I have to do for each one mostly, but just double checking, making sure I don't miss anything.

1. CD player. Sometimes it clicks and won't play a CD full through or sometimes just wont give the CD back at all. Its got the nifty controls in the steering wheel, so I don't want to go aftermarket and not be able to use those, plus when it works, it suits my needs just fine. I don't really know the problem here, but it doesn't happen all the time, and usually it'll will only do it once. Maybe just needs to be cleaned on the inside or something? No idea. Maybe I'll raid the junkyard and see if I can find a P/A.

2. Power windows don't work for passenger side front and drivers side rear on their respective switches. They both work from the drivers seat, so its not a real big issue. I suppose its something in the doors. The passenger side front, the switch itself just is kinda messed. But because it doesn't work on the doors, it should be with the doors themselves right?

3. The accessories belt likes to shred. My mom took the car to a shop to get the alternator changed, and needless to say they sucked. They didn't do a good job. She shoulda brought it over here to my house and me and my dad woulda fixed it, for a lot less too. My guess is that the pully is misaligned because the belt jumped over one rib, and shredded off that one rib. Its fine now, I drove it around today. No more shredding. I have a new belt and me and my dad are gonna go at it tuesday. Thats my assumption.

4. I killed the battery a few nights ago. I was washing the car (holy **** it was dirty) and left my stereo on full blast so I could hear it, and when you leave the keys to turn on accessories, it leaves the lights on (the lights come on automatically) and afterwards I had the doors opened so the interior lights were all on because I was cleaning the inside. So, I jumped the car and its fine now. But I didn't have it like this for very long, and I think the battery is on its last leg anyways. Also, the belt on the alternator could be slipping because it is missing a rib. Not sure. May just get a new battery and change the belt anyways. The battery shoulda had more juice then that in it.

That should be about it. Any input would be appreciated on anything, thanks.

For the windows, it sounds like it could be the switches. I had this problem on my 93 SSE and my 98 Lumina LTZ and I ended up replacing the bad switch on both. If the window didn't go down with either switch, then I would suggest the motor. As for the other issues, I'd say get a new CD player from a wrecker (or someone here... I think I saw someone with one) and the rest someone else would know better.
