I actually came up with a temp fix on my own with which I can still drive the car. Problem is, it'* very restrictive. I used 2 inline filters I had on hand from an old Mercedes 240D, and spliced lengths of injection hose in temporarily with hose clamps. It doesn't leak.... but going over half throttle bogs me down big time. When the money comes through on Friday I'll be taking it to a shop and getting it properly fixed. I'll update this thread with my progress when it'* fixed properly, my next project is going to be adding a muffler and getting my A/C system working, it is FL after all! :P

Ah, and I was wondering if there'* an "easy" fixed for the tilt steering issue on these cars. I was reading up and these cars are notorious for the steering assy coming loose. Well, my tilt still works but I can move the wheel up, down, left and right, very loose.
Should I just replace the whole steering column or is there a walkthrough for fixing the issue I'm having? I can post a video if needed of the issue..

Especially shops that use rubber vacuum line to patch fuel lines instead of actual FUEL LINE hose. You'd be amazed how many so-called mechanics make that mistake! (Although I know *WE* wouldn't!)
