From what i can ascertain the bulbs draw more power then the wiring can handle thus blowing the bulb if this makes any sense..... i think its the other way around tho

Default Temporary Fix for Shaft noise

Raise The Front Wheels off the ground. With the wheels hanging turn the steering wheel fully to the left and right about 10.
I believe this redistributes the grease and stops the noise and firms up the steering. I have done this twice. The first time lasted about 6 months. I have 49000 miles on my 04 GXP. Have had the fog lamp problem in the past and a coolant leak. Both Fixed under Warranty.

freund, That actually sounds like it would redistibute the grease that is obvously falling away fro the knuckle. When the weather turns again i am going to try it with my front air struts raised all the way up and hanging.. This summer I want to get a grease zerk in there somewhere.

Taking the GXP in wednesday for its second shaft. Car has just over 11k miles. Its still a great car, and we plan on keeping it for a long time.
