From what I've seen with the STS system, the mufflers come off. I may be wrong. I've been thinking about the STS system myself but want to see results from others first.

On the STS installs I’ve seen, they replace the muffler with a turbo. Probably because 1) it’* hard to find any other place to put it, and 2) the turbo itself muffles the exhaust significantly. With the cat still in place, it shouldn’t be excessively loud. Installing that way in the GXP would allow for twin turbos at the back, although then you’ve got to plumb both turbos, which is a lot of fabrication.
My hat’* off to anyone who pulls this off in a GXP. I guess right now Venom is the craziest with NOS on a relatively new car.

My nitrous is working great for the moment.. $50 a bottle gets weary but I live with it. Besides the fact I dont go far from home with no license till July '07
I also like the idea of ditching the mufflers and running the exhaust side of the turbo directly to the tips. Lowering the backside exhaust pressure can only help boost.
2.3 Turbo, I'm real interested in what a well broke in GXP can do in the 1/4 mile. I lost my chance when I got snagged in May street racing.
