Headlights - a funny thing happened
Since it appears to be a slow "thread" day, I thought I'd share a funny story about my headlights. Well, it'* more of an embarrasing story.
I've been driving my Bonneville for a couple months now and I couldn't figure out why my Headlight delay wasn't working right. It seemed like the lights would stay on for a really long time. And I couldn't get that warning chime to stop after I shut the car off.
Today I finally started to wade thru the owner'* manual. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I had a headlight switch! On. off. park! Like a real switch.
That'* right! Hidden in plain view, behind the steering wheel, waaaay down the turn signal stalk.... there it is, clearly marked: the headlight switch.
Apparently, I've been using my battery saver function at least twice a day for a month. And it works great.
So, anytime in the future that I should offer any advice....
...remember the headlight switch.

I don't even know how I did that?!
I'll have to be more careful in the future.
But what can you say about a guy who can't find his headlight switch?

At least it'* not like if you are in someone elses (not gm) car and you have to hunt for the stinking thing in the dark...
And automatic rundown hooked you up on turning them off.
