Hey Gang!
Question on the motor mounts, maybe masterx92'* GM mechanic can answer? Is there a spec on amount of movement that is considered normal? Also, which mount, front or rear, did you buy and do you still have it? I thought I read somewhere on here one of yinz replaced the mounts on your GXP, was that you Venom?

Nope. I remember ReallyAGXP had one break and maybe two others. Not a real common issue. It does have alot of "new out of the box" play that I believe contributes to the many oil and water crossover line leaks we've had. I've been real lucky with no real problems @ 50k miles. Especially given the abuse I've given mine.

Ugh. I just had my front motor mount replaced again. It'* an '05 GXP and I replaced the first one almost exactly two years ago. I hope I have better luck with this one.

Hey... has anyone replaced the front motor mount them self and would have a rough outline what needs to be done? Looks like a very tight fit, exhaust manifold in the way, bottom mount bolt goes about 3" through frame member. Seems like the radiator and fan assembly may need to be removed to get at the mount bracket bolts.
