One of mine burned out, so I replaced both of them with some aftermarket bulbs from Pep boys. They’ve got the blue tint on them, so right there you’ve got the potential to look cheesy. But I had used these bulbs on another vehicle and when installed on my GXP they great IMO. When reinstalling the fog lamps, I also determined that if I shift the lower mounting point forward, then drill a new hole in the bracket, I’ll be able to aim the fogs a little higher. I’m going to have to do this at night against the garage wall so they are aimed right. I want to make sure I don’t blind anyone, but the fogs would definitely work best aimed a little higher.
These GXP foglamps are nice. The projectors have a sharp upper cutoff, and they separate the light spectrum at the cutoff just like the BMW and Audi zenon headlight projectors do.
Going with 110 watt bulbs vs. the stock (which appear to be 55 watt) bulbs would be nice, but I’m sure the stock harness would last all of 5 minutes. Maybe at some point I’ll wire up a relay kit and give it a try.

Had the new harness install a few months later had a fog light replaced in my 2005 GXP.
Now I can't reset my driver information, contols on my steering wheel are not lit and I have an airbag warning I can't get rid of. I'm begining to think something in the computer is causing all of this. ANY THOUGHTS OR KNOWLEDGE?
