Ceramic Brake Pads....
....aaahhhh...how I love thee.
I couldn't take the annoying squealing and black dust all over my wheels any longer. I switched out my pads for four sets of Raybestos Quiet Stop pads. What a difference!!
I haven't had a chance to clean my wheels for a week and they still shine. Not to mention the superior braking feel and performance. And lets not leave out why I originally changed the pads....SQUEALING...which is no longer an issue.
If any of you are over it, I definitely recommend this upgrade.

I had a very similar experience with the Bendix CT3 Ceramic pads. I now have over 10k miles on the car since I changed over the pads/rotors with Bendix brand everything and it has been smooth as silk and quiet as a mouse ever since with NO brake dust!!!

Where can one find ceramic pads for the GXP? Every place I have checked does not show ceramic pads for my car, just semi-metallic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't understand why the Raybestos site doesn't list the front pads. I'm looking at my receipt and it'* all there in black & white PGD1019AQS. They sell a "Professional Grade" set of fronts and the number is D1019A, so the "Quiet Stop" part number seems to jive with the rest of their line of pads.
There were no mods needed. They were direct replacements. The shop did forget to plug a cable on my left rear brake, so my ABS and TCS light came on. I took it to the dealer just to make sure they didn't jack my brakes up and had them check it. It was an unplugged cable in the rear left brake. The dealer said everything else looked good. Bottom line and lesson learned....take the pads to the experts next time.
Let us know how it turns out.

Thanks for the reply! I actually got an email last night from one of the websites, some autoparts warehouse-can't remember the name, but they said they had the part for $49.95 - $99.00 . I was happy to finally have found the part but I think I will check out your Pep Boys for a price comparison and maybe just get them from Pep Boys. I do find it strange that that part number comes up in several places but when I called them, no one seems to be able to find it. The search I did on Google found the number and I went into that site, found the number, even called them to order it and they had no idea of what I was talking about, couldn't find the number at all! Once I get them and put them on(I do all my own maintenance - unless it is covered under warranty) I will let you know what I think. I just don't trust some of these shops anymore, except for the dealership. Thanks again for all your help!! Keep that GXP in between the lines, my friend!
