Blowing Driving Lights

Blowing Driving Lights
I have a 2004 GXP only one problem. The lower driving lights keep blowing.
Is anybody else having problems with the driving lights?
I bought my GXP in August and have had the lights replaced 2 times on the right side
and 3 times on the Left.
The last time I took the car to the dealer they replaced the lens housing. The right side light is out again. (The dealer replaced the bulbs each time.)
I also own a 2000 SSEI I bought new in Feb, 2000. Only have had to replace those
bulbs a couple of times.

Same problem here. 2 bulbs and a housing on the right and they just ordered a housing for the left after blowing the bulbs 3 times. No other problems in almost 30,000 miles!

I just had my fog bulbs replaced 2 weeks ago. They actually went out last summer, but I just got around to replacing them. I'll see how long the new ones last. It has been most common warranty claim on GXPs

Moisture boys. It'* the seal between the lamp socket and reflector assembly. Many GM trucks also have this problem.
If you put a thin film of silicone RTV between them during re-assembly, you won't have this problem. Tell your dealer. But have them clean the INSIDE of the reflector assembly and dry throroughly first.
