However, I do agree with him / her. I would rather have an Alero or an Aurora over an Intrique. Not only are the Alero and the Aurora more stylish, they are faster too. However, the 3.5L engine shouldn't be the problem. It must be the weight of the car, or the final drive ratio... something that isn't right in order to slow it down. :?
Not that I care about speed, of course.

The last "guest" was me. I can't explain how that happened; I was logged in. Anyway, please excuse my last post as a "guest" when I had no intention of doing so.
I even said, "That'* odd. I wasn't aware that guests can post on our forum." Oh the irony!

What are you trying to hide?
The 3800 was an option, they have like 3.1 too don't they? It'* the same platform asa GP, but they got rid of the 3800 cause olds was working down it'* engines. Aurora'* only had the 4.0L recently cause the intrigue is gone, and the shared engine went with it...

Naw..the Intrigue is a Malibu, same size etc...same class, same trim level etc. The Intrigue is just an up version of the Chev Malibu...
It has a standard 3.5 V6, which was also found in the base 2000+ Aurora, that poor thing is underpowered.
Now if the Intrigue had a 4.0L V8...
