Steering wheel controls were cool the 2 weeks I had them before I installed my aftermarket hu. I saw this kit but never knew of anybody trying it out. I thought the kit was like 60 bucks? Where did you find it for 30?

One thing you need is not just a deck with remote capability, but the actual remote. My RF MP3 headunit has an option for a remote, but i would need to get ahold of an RF remote to program it.
Does it keep programming if the battery is disconnected?

what would u rate the level of hardness 1-10 10 being hardest. cuz im really looking into getting one cuz i miss my controls.
it works on just about all newer cd players with remotes? what did u use for power and ground? did u mean power and ground of the cd player? so only on wire to connect to the cd players wire harness?

the unit comes with tons of documentary on how to install... but you only need minimal parts of it..... it just that its got such a wide range of uses..
if you can wire up your cd player, this is twice as easy... only 3 wires!!
yeah, i pulled the power and ground from the cd player
yes it works with almost all remote cd players, and there is a list of players that dont work with it...
