yeah but when you only have so much room (for instance a truck or small car) a box like that just wont work
hence why i like my 19w by 22 deep bandpass boxes
ive never had an issue with bandpass it all depends on the application too..sometimes sealed is better

im sure itll work good for ur application.
i got these subs yesterday cam in a nice 3 cu ft box that was built by a shop but they made one of the holes to big for the sub so only a half the screws actually hit wood, retards, so i gotta make a double front baffle

LOL! Wow, those are quite morons. I at least test the fit before I carpet the box so I don't waste time carpeting it. A double thick baffle wouldn't be a bad idea, though you may need to re-carpet the box.
