Ok before we start this is my first time ever trying to do a full on custom install.. I build boxes for fun and extra money, and figured what better way to show off my work then to have something custom in my trunk..
Now this is about 25% done, lots of trim work and have to still build the box and the amp rack..
but does this look ok, decent, or like $hit

You've got a good start there. What kind of material is that? MDF? If it is, that'* going to add a lot of unwanted weight. You should consider only using MDF where amps, caps or other equipment will be mounted. Other panels can be made from balsa wood or 1/4" plywood. Once it'* covered with carpet or whatever else you had in mind, it will look like the same stuff.
Ever thought about motorizing parts? When I disassembled the seats from the parts car, I was thinking of what the motors could be used for. Amp rack was my first thought.

I got lots of ideas
and alot of that wood on the side will be gone.. thats just the basic shape of things...
the amp(*) will be recessed into the 2nd part of the false floor
the third part will be where the box is located with a plexi window to see inside the box from the rear seat pull down armrest cup holder thingy. LOL
on the sides Im thinking all the distribution blocks and cap on one side
and possibly a Audio Control EQ on the other side.. with of course some silk screened parts on top to explain the system and of course one would be for my name. Since I do build custom boxes and what not..

It sounds like a good plan. That would be a nice touch with the silk screening. Maybe a block diagram of the system?
Do you do your own silk screening?
