No problem, I've been meaning to finish the write up on how to do that for about 6 months now
but kept on putting it off.... I think it would be a good addition to techinfo.

Most definitely a good one for techinfo or at least a sticky (or whatever the ones are that stay at the top of the indexes.
BTW, other than the quieter-than-the-bose'* Infinity components all is well in Bose/Infinity/Pioneer audio land (at least in my neck of the woods).

Stupid "premium sound systems". If you're running aftermarket speakers thru the stock wiring you'll have problems. I'd suggest running the speakers off of the Head units internal amp, by running new wiring to the harness. It'll be much higher powered, and clearer.
