I gave the box and sub its first spirited run this afternoon. I have to say, I'm VERY happy with this sub and amp combo. It definately moves the trunk lid around

Tuned to mid 30'* hz. I need to test it a bit more to find out exactly what it is.

The guy with 12 - 10'* had 6000 watts going to them. The guy with 1 - 15 in. had 4000 watts going to it. He had 4 db greater than the wagon.

There are alot that goes into High SPL and sometimes its not the quantity and size, but the box, box position, wattage etc.. that goes further if done right.

Least, that is what I learned.
I have taken that all into consideration since I have attended many SPL competitions as a spectator at most, but your running more power, and moving more air which means CC wouldnt stand a chance. (Sorry CC lol )

To keep competitors in the same "bracket" if you will, they class them so that these things dont happen.

Heres some more info if your interested

I considered painting it...but its like 40 degrees in the garage and the paint I was going to use says above 50. So painting is on hold and I dont really feel like paying for carpet or fabric.

I'm not sure what I want to do with it yet, I just know I want to do something to finish it off.

Looks pretty clean so far. I like it. After having my 2nd setup so long now, I'm not sure I could kill the usability as much as that though.

I am considering redoing the walls to blend in better, and look nicer. Some of the carpet work was half assed to say the least when I put it together.

I could have my cargo net back in under 1/2 an hour if I wanted to reinstall the clips that hold the net loops on.

The only thing that I know for a fact that I will miss is the pass through. I do use it for long things fairly often.

Default watts and speakers

Black,

I looked at the rules, I guess thats the variance. The rules you showed classed vehichles by total wattage. The one SPL I was in, classed the vehichles by cummulitive total of speaker(*) diameter.

According to TermPro

I guess its up to who'* running the show.

But I agree, the classing system makes the dertermination and supposedly evens out the field.

While I personally dont care, you two should make a thread about SPL, so that everyone who wants to join can join and it will keep 1 topic per thread. Maybe have th thread started by the posts in this one.
