That'll be a couple of paydays away, but they'll get done. I keep my fader set to mostly rear to keep the disortion down some.

Someone said that the stock speakers are only good for about 10 watts. Sounds kinda low to me. Can anyone enlighten me?

I've got to learn to look away when you guys post stuff like this, lol. Mine also has just the most basic AM/FM/Tape Deck and speakers, so pretty poor sound quality. I've always been pretty cheap to myself on extras for my cars (until I discovered BC that is, lol). Now I have to find out how these work for you, John. Let us know, 'cause $40 is easy to "misplace" during a trip to MalWart.

they are great speakers for the price...i got them. I have the yellow ones though, but the stock speaker grill covers them. With an aftermarket HU...them things pound. They can rattle my trunk and rear window without my subwoofers...

Sweet! Thanks for the info! Turns out I have everything I need, except the plugs, to mount them here at work. So, between quitting time and meeting time, I may just have to make another WallyWorld run....
