OLD SETUP (Straight BOOM):
Headunit:
- Pioneer Premier CDX-M940MP
EQ:
- AudioControl EQX
Interior Speakers:
- Stock
Subs:
- 2 x JL Audio 15w3d2
Amps:
- 2 x JL Audio 500/1
Electrical:
- Red Top
- Stinger 1 Fard Cap
Wiring:
- Stinger Everything (4 Gauge to each amp)
- Each 15 was wired into a 4 Ohm load and each got a 500/1. The 15'* were in a 7 ft3 slot ported box.
CURRENT SETUP (Pure SQ):
Headunit:
- Eclipse CD8454 (One of the best HU'* out right now)
Monitors:
- 2 x Eclipse VM7211 (7")
Video Game System/DVD Player:
- XBox
Interior Speakers:
- JL Audio XR650-CSi (Soon to be ZR'*)
Sub:
- JL Audio 10w7 (500w RMS)
Amps:
- JL Audio 300/4 (75w x 4 RMS)
- JL Audio 500/1 (500w RMS)
Electrical:
- Batcap 800
- Red Top
Wiring:
- Stinger Everything - 1/0 Gauge to Batcap, 4 Gauge to each amp, 8 Gauge from 500/1 to 10w7, 12 Gauge Twisted wire from 300/4 to tweeters and mids. Stinger Dream Series RCA'*.
- The 300/4 is Bi-wired sending 75 watts RMS to each tweeter and mid (got rid of the passive crossover). The 10w7 is in a JL Audio High Output Box right now. . . .BUT finishing a custom sealed enclosure. Other then for games the X-Box is used for a DVD player sending video to the 2 7" Eclipse screens.
