I want some of Hectors' Powerbase 6x9'* for the backs and 2 people want to "give" me subwoofers. One guy has a Sunfire coupe with no room for the sub...bwa hahah the Bonneville does!!!!.

Once I know the specs etc, I probably do it. There is a sequence of work that has to be done still, so I might pick up the parts and install when ready.
I also get Powerbase Subwoofers and quite a few name brands. Let me know if you want any. Check it out at www.powerbaseusa.net , I also get wiring kits and such for great prices. My sound source just loves me.

I had Rockford Fosgate Punch HX'2. They were pretty sweet sounding (But expensive, $250 a piece!) I had the dual 4 ohm series, running a 2 channel amp at 2 ohms stereo. They were getting about 400 watts a piece contiunous. I actually think they could have done a lot more in a more appropriate enclosure (I got a free dual SUBZERO box with my purchase). I would recommend a sealed 1.25 cu box. If your 1000 watt clarion is a 2 channel, run them in stereo. I also highly recommend a cd player with at least a 4 volt sub output. HEY JONBOLL, keep me posted on the stereo!

Well.. mine has been stolen.. Grr.. a while back on the same day I picked up my My bonnie.. left it at work'* parking lot since I'm not talented in driving them both home.. It was going to go into the Bonnie.. but with $$ pending.. I will probably redisgn a whole new system again..

WAS
Alpine CD deck.. don't remember what model
JBL'* 6x9'* and 4 x 6 front all 160 Watt rated
Alpine 400 Watt powering them all fours
2 JL 12W3'* in banpass ( was going to redesign them to 2 sealed.. or possibly ported since Bonnie has the room )
powered by Mobile Authority A1000 1000 Watt unit
LOL.. it'* a blast going to drive in movies since I get the Movie sound but louder and better.. and still could make out / drink / and do my 420 and other business.. not in any order or combination.. hee hee

Future plan later on for my Bonnie would be
JBL'* or RF 6x9'*
have 2 amps kickin around somewhere in my room.. maybe I"ll get them to power those
2 Cerwin Vega'* 12" in sealed box.. ported if I have the room to BOLT it into my trunk ( not gettin it stolen again ) and yet have room to access the spare tire
and another 1000Watt Amp to power them.
Will be lookin for decks that will work with the steering wheel control.. any listing of all that would work ? Must also have to have removable faceplates and 4V pre outs in 2 pairs ( 3 pairs would be nice.. but it gets pricey then )

I have a JVC deck, Pioneer 2 ways all the way around, 2 Clarion 10'* in the back powered by a 340 Jenson amp.

****Future Plans******
Alpine Deck
Alpine Type R Speakers all around
Alpine eight inch sub kick panels
2 12' Apline Type R subs
200 watt Alpine DIGITAL amp.

Seriously check these digital amps out guys and gals. They don't lose any power to heat etc. like regular ones do and they are powerful, my friend is running a 15 and 2 tens off of one 200 watt amp

I saw in some other thread that PAC makes an interface for the steering wheel controls that can be programed for any head unit with a remote. I think the GP Store or some-such place sells it. If you get working on the system anytime soon, I'd like to hear if that works or if you find another solution.

Most of the stereo on my web page is still there except that the sub amp is now a DEI
1100d and I now have four 6x9'* in the rear deck. I also have an EPiC - 15o instead of the s0ny MK-9o EQ, and the highest SPL to date is 14o on the EPiC display.
.....go to my web page to check it out.
