yes but technical data supports my experience. so do the experts and competitors. how often do u see a factory radio in a car used in audio competitions. NEVER. and its like that for a reason

Im sorry people but im not backing down from this one. I dont mean to put ne one elses car down im just trying to educate people. If u dont want to put too much money into ur radio and ur factory stereo sounds good to u then thats fine do what u want but if u want to upgrade in sound quality and features, then an aftermarket deck is a must

Here is an example of ur typical factory speaker just look at the freaquency range. and a good component set goes from about 80 to 20,000 hz a huge difference.

by the way the premium factroy speakers are about 20 cents more at the most

since this is a car site, let'* put this in prespective.
A 1997 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi is better than a 1975 Honda Civic. A 1975 Honda Civic must be junk because a 1997 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi is better.
ok... bad example... here'* a better one.
A McLaren F1 is better than a 2003 Corvette Z06. A 2003 Corvette Z06 must be junk because the McLaren F1 is better. (see how this line of thinking doesn't work...)

But the point of that post was to back up the point that aftermarket deckse are better than factroy ones. The technical data says that the factroy one is junk. Take for example the lack of digital signal proccessing in a factroy deck.
