will a Double DIN setup fit into my 1993 SE stereo slot? i no the hole is bigger, which is why it requires more mounting brackets but is it big enough to house it?
any custom mods to the trim do you think?

take into consideration though, that i have an SE.. the dash stops and i have a bench seat. still the same sized hole to pop it in?
+ theres not too much to sand off of my trim.. maybe 1/4 inch or so on the bottom. will the actual hole in the dash be big enoughto pop it in tho or are we talkin about cutting a bigger hole in the dash itself?

ooooo you are going to have a problem....i think that the design of your dash will not allow you to do the double din.......
what about a regular HU with a screen underneath since you have the room

I had to add material to the sides of the dash trim as it was too wide for the 2 DIN radio. The radio was about 3/4" narrower so about 3/8" was added to each side. If you had to enlarge the bottom of your trim piece and retain the same width, I think you'd run out of room. But since it'* narrower, I still think it could be done.
