Destroyed Rear Speaker, need advice
This is odd for me.
Veterans will know why.
My right rear speaker was found to be essentially destroyed. Rob (corvettecrazy) found it which explains the awful rattling that my parents thought was from the rear suspension.
I figured I might as well replace them. I want a set that gives me good "vibrations" so I can feel the beat of hte music. Even deaf people enjoy music (kinda)
Any suggestions. (Bolt-in is preferred) I have no clue about audio or music.

Budget? Since I never get involved with audio, I don't know the budgets.

IMO, get w/e fits your budget. They will be better than stock, especially in thier current condition. 15 dollar walmart 6x9'* would be better than what is in there now.

If they still have them, I (and a couple of other members) got a $40 set at WalMart that should work for you. They sound pretty good and I get pretty good bass out of them.

But will they fit under the speaker cover (the steel mesh cover?) I like factory appearance.
