make sure u finalize the disc, and dont use rw'*

My stock HU has no problem reading them at all. Even the black cdrs that I found some other cd players to be picky about.

The stock hu in my 98 did but had to run a cleaning disk in it once a month or i t would stop reading them. Didn't make sense to me.

Both the 95 and 97 stock units would read burned cd'* for me.

i think we have established that some pre 92'* can do it, and all 92+ SHOULD be able to with a good cleaning

The key is is to burn them kinda slow like 16x to 24x,,any faster and mine won't
read it.
