Compustar, just because I have it and hasnt died or messed up at all. My father has a DEI product on his Explorer, and works well also.

Yea i have a viper. I love it to death. The range on it is estimated at over 1/4 mile. I have the locks and truck also programmed in to it. And it has a panic button so when you cant find your car coming out of the mall, ect that comes in handy. I forget the line it is but the numbers on the back are fcc id: ezsdei476 afn 676v 266 codes. i would strongly recommend it.

Just be warned, if you are a wimp like me, a remote starter will kill you gas mileage during the winter...
