I have an Alpine mp3 deck with Sirius Satellite radio in my 2005 Bonneville GXP which originally had the Monsoon. I hooked up the Alpine deck to the factory XM sharkfin antenna on my roof which works fine. Sirius is good, FM radio is good, but the whole AM band is just static. Any ideas?

I was going to use it for local sports broadcasts that aren't on FM or Sirius...but that is all. It'* also kind of hard to explain to your wife that your big fancy stereo system can't tune in what her $39 system can!
