Hey guys,

As many of you know, especially SamGXP, these cars have very large radios in them. If I were to replace (or have someone install) the head unit with the one shown above, a new backing plate will need to be installed to make up for the difference...this is my concern because most plates i have seen dont look very good. So, my question is am i basically limited to going with a large screen like SamGXP, or have you seen any other neat ways to mount them?

Thanks for the help!
Eric

well if u know how to work with fiberglass, thats a good option but a installation kit is the best way. There are some good DIN and a 1/2 decks out there. I just say a badass pioneer for $300. some installation kits incorprete a cubby hole into them to store small things in, like a few cd'* or whatever, but there arent many options. u could always paint the black plastic installation kit to match your interior

if u use a single din deck and a EQ it would be the same size as the Din and a half opening. but u will prolly have to come up with a way to mount em
