Default 2002 Bonneville Stock Stereo Specs

I've been searching the forums for a while now and I can't seems to find any technical specs on the stocks stereo units for any of the 00+ models. So I decided to just ask.

Does anyone know the technical specs for a 2002 stock Bonneville SE? (ie. watts, amps, ohms, brand, etc)

I have a the CD and Tape Deck version in my Bonney and I'm wondering if I can easily hook up a couple 6x9 speakers without needing to buy some after market amp. I've seen several labellings under my rear seat and in trunk that say Delphi. Does Delphi make the system?

Any info would be appreciated.

yah upgrading the speakers isn't gonna do anything without a new headunit or amps, if you plan on putting in a new headunit i would go with like 50-60 watt RMS speakers

Thanks for the info. The speakers I have are 80-Watt RMS. When I loosely test connected them to the back speakers they sound decent to me with the stock head unit and no amp. I'm not sure if it would really be worth going out and buying a new head unit and an amp.

But my question still stands...

Does anyone know the Wattage, amperage, and ohms of the STOCK head unit in a 02 Bonneville?

you dont need an amp if you get a new headunit, but its up to you whether you want a new headunit
