Wheel Direction
Ok, serious answers only, no laughing.
On the 2001 SSEi wheels as seen below, did Pontiac only make them in one direction? Why on the left side of my car do they point backwards and on the right side of my car they point forwards?
It makes no difference which side of the car you put the wheel on it will still point in the same direction based upon the side. It would be my luck to get a car where the factorymessed up and put the same direction wheel on both sides. Tell me that'* not the case.

all 4 rims are the same. No difference side to side. I don't know of any auto manufacturer that would put different rim designs on either side of the car, but I'm no expert.

....perhaps so they would appear to be turning in the same direction?

For asthetics (sp?) it makes sense, but for the bean counters... not so much. Why have 2 rim molds for every design. That would push the cost up to atleast double what a single mold would be.
It would have been nice to have the rims be side specific and turn in the 'right' direction, but that'* life.
Here'* my suggestion to you, only take pictures of the Drivers side! LOL

I knew there would be some, just I didn't know of any off the top of my head. I'm sure that some of the Porsche, Jags, etc that had uni-directional rim designs (if they did at all) had different rims, side-to-side.

Yeah I agree with all the posts. It is a bit strange, I like rotation on the drivers side for sure. I'll trade you these 20 spoke pain in the $ss to keep clean wheels for the chrome swoopies any day.
