Trying to put Bonneville steering wheel into my fbody...
Why does the 2000 Bonny SSEi steering wheel not have the horn or mounting plate that seemingly every other GM steering wheel has?
Sorry I don't have pictures. You'll just to have to know what I'm talking about. Basically, when you pull a steering wheel off the hub, you need the part of the steering wheel to put the 2 screws in so you can pulll it off with the wheel puller tool. This SSEi wheel doesn't have that part, nor the horn plates.
Anyone know if I need to buy another part? Is that peice on the airbag unit? I didn't buy that, reason being I didn't want to spend more than I had to on this project.
Why am I doing this, the stock 4th gen steering wheel is skinny and thin. The SSei wheel is very meaty and is the same diamter as the fbody wheel, so why not.
Thanks guys.
