thanks, now, if this top speed limiter was gone (new chip, or eprom, ive forgotton the correct term) what kind of top end would i be looking at?

Lets just say you dont want to be caught on the hwy doing it, and you will need higher rated tires. I think the fastest is 201 mph. 150-175 have been done by a select few.

Tires yes, but gotta think aerodynamics, car weight, lift and drag etc at those speeds.
Unless you are properly suited to go those speeds....dont. Even with a chip.

wow, well, i didnt ever really think it would get past 150, thats pretty amazing, my friends porche 944 *spelling* tops out at 160, and just to think that a big heavy comfy american car can out do that.... haha.... it makes me laugh, there is no way i ever plan on going that fast, at least on public roads. but thanks guys
