Sway Bar Bushings Mod

Sway Bar Bushings Mod
The Bullet got a new mod today.
Tightened up the cornering feel and sharpened the response. Noticeably less lean in turns. Not as much as a larger sway bar but a cheap and quick mod that takes it part way.
I uses Suspension Energy 9.8120R end links on all four corners. Polyeurethane bushings with larger diameter (3/8") link bolt.
The rear was a breeze and no alterations were required. A simple bolt on.
The front was a bit trickier. I had to trim the metal spacers 1/4" in order to get the nut started but it fits perfectly otherwise.
The OEM links with soft rubber bushings, plastic spacers, 5/16" bolts are in the parts bin. :P
So, scratch that mod from the WCBM06 Mod day......but I can help others do it.

Good to hear. I've been wanting to do mine for awhile. I'm still trying tofigure out which bushings are used for the swaybars.
When you say "trim the metal spacers", how did you do that?
Parts store...here I come.

No alignment is necessary. Simply do what Paul did, and buy the kit with a slightly LONGER spacer in it than the stock spacer length. Then trim the spacer to match in the new kit.
I'm assuming there isn't a kit from them with the exact spacer length. This is the next obvious solution.

Suspension Energy 9.8120R is the perfect size for the rear and only 1/4" needs to be trimmed for the fronts.
It has no effect on alignment, it simply reduces compliance or the amount of deflection.
I'll take some pics and post them later.
