Sunroof drain tubes - my experiences and 1 question
A lot has been written about the grief sunroof owners experience. My headliner is in the other room, waiting for me to glue new fabric to it...
Finally got around to flushing my drain tubes today. In my opinion it is best to start with the rear tubes. The rear tubes are shorter and entirely accessible. I used an air compressor to flush the blockage which worked great. This disconnected them at the low end where they leave the trunk. The terminate in a rubber gromet through the body. If using an air compressor, be sure to check that they are still attached at the bottom. I didn't find zip ties on mine so I'm adding them.
Question
My front passenger drain tub drains.... but the water comes out about 8 inches further back than the driver side tube does. It comes out from a seam in the body, not at the rear of the wheel well. I'm guessing something is disconnected and the water is finding an alternate way out. Does anyone know where the joint in the passenger side front tube is? My interior is coming out again, isn't it?....

It has a connection in the Apillar and then another connection that is tough to get at behind the rubber drain flap at rear of wheel well .I bet you it is disconnected at the drain flap behind wheel well.
