Not a problem. Get it when you can. The immediate problem of having your car fixed is past. Also, if you could, let us know on the outcome of your vibration, too.

Here are the sound clips. Sometimes it would sound worse but I couldn't get one any better than this. Car is now at my dealer for them to fix.
I was not moving when I did these.

The vibration issue I was having is 99.9% better. I know now these tires are the problem for sure. The vibration that I felt in the car, floor and seat are totally gone. The shimmy in the wheel at 70 is now at 60 but if you didn't know it you probably wouldn't even feel it and it no longer pulles to the right. These tires are original from 2002, they have good tread but they are old and some new ones wouldn't hurt. I'll wait a while on that for now though.

Is this about the the one in your signature that only has 19,000 miles on it?
And by the way, you might want to put the 'I' in front of "vory" to make it "Ivory."

I had that noise back when I bought my car, they said my rack was bad and replaced it. The noise is now back 5 months/10,000 miles later. It doesn't do it all the time like it used to, but atleast now I know what it is.
Let me know when you get it fixed that way I know it helped.

Yep. Those sounds are not indicative of the steering intermediate shaft but............
I had that same noise. A new power steering high-pressure hose solved my problem. Before they rip into your rack ask them if the hose could be the problem too. There is an updated reinforced PS hose to solve such a noise and vibration.
Does anyone have the TSB regarding that hose?
