just got tranny done fresh out the shop but car is still acting up maybe it wasnt tranny car seems to surge like rev up every now and then and hesitate check engine light came on shop said code 0102 i think some time when am at a stop light it will even just cut off completlywhen i accelerate it will switch geares but like jerk and hesitate sometimes kinda feel like i might be out of gas 00 ssei ihave a custom cai could it be my mafs any suggestions

0102 is your MAF sensor. If you unplug it does the car run better?

yes, a bad MAF will make the car run horrible.

I had the same thing happen on a grand am, I thought the trans was going out because it was shifting at the wrong times and banging into gears. Turns out the MAF had a good layer of dust on it. I cleaned it with some electronic cleaner and the car purred like a kitten.
