Yeah where did you find a road that you could drive a steady 130 for 10 minutes. Btw I know that the reason most police departments have stayed away from 3800 powered cars was due to heat damage at high speeds with those cars.

I know my GXP brakes are bigger than the SSEis and mine faded alot after my first HighSpeed run. How did your hold up?

They are the same size. The SSEi'* have larger brakes than a regular Bonne.

The smell was from the exhaust tubing heating up to about 900 F

If your familiar with the mid hudson valley of NY, it was on 87 going north, just after Kingston on a trip to Albany for a correctional officer psychological
interview.

Tell me what size they are and I'll tell you if they are the same.
....but I know they are the same 12" diameter units.

My GXP is 12.7" front and 11.7" rear
Yours are 11.9" front and, 11.1" rear

Anyway 2000Silverbullet this was not my original point. I was asking the chap that went 130 for 10 minutes if he had lots of brake fade.

Now you know..

Mine don't fade even after 130 mph runs from 60 back and forth over a stretch of about 25 miles.

GXP must be > SSEi

Can do that on 687 too. There'* a nice stretch where 684 straddles NY and CT thats a no man'*' zone for the troopers. I get my car up to its limiter on a regular basis for that stretch whenever I'm going to and from Bill'*.
