The oil in mine was basically gone because it leaked out after it ripped itself in half

So replacing this with 3 hockey pucks would make the car shift even harder right? Wouldn't I feel it a lot more? Also, would this cause more wear on the rest of the mounts?

The car will not shift harder, you will just have a little more feel to it in the steering wheel. Also, I notice a small vibration when the tranny shifts into overdrive.

I have had my solid mount on for 4 months and I am satisfied. There are a few who would rather pay $80.00 for a new, stock mount and not feel the slight vibration. Apparently for some people, it drives them crazy. There are a couple who have had their solid mounts on for a year or more, and wouldn't have it any other way.

Theoretically there are small gains, also. The lack of motor twisting while accelerating would put more power on the road, quicker, before waiting for the stock mount to absorb the motion, then translate it to the wheels. Also, some like the idea of less engine movement which would save the exhuast, fuel lines, etc.
