Post Series 2/3 Engine Parts

Well, since I crashed my 95 Bonneville I've been looking for a new one. My 95 has brand new spark plugs, air filter, and battery.

If I happen to get my hands a 2000+ Bonneville, could I use any of the parts from my old car on it?

Battery can't be used in a 2000+ because it is located under the back seat and has special vents to make sure any of the fumes coming out of the battery do not enter the cabin

Series 3 parts should be fine, starter, some sensors. Alt will be different.
