Rear bump Steer, ELC problem
Hello,
I have a 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI. Besides being a total piece of crap. My most recent issue with this thing is rear bump steer. Anytime going over a bump, the rear end seems to go out of control. I replaced the rear air shocks as they were leaking oil. With Monroe Air Shocks which was a direct swap/hookup. Did not replace the shock mounts as they appear to be good and I am not getting any noise. The ELC compressor turns on after intial start up and runs for a few seconds, then shuts off. I am also able to use the air accessory to inflate a tire. The problem is the rear end is sitting obviously lower than the front end. I am still getting the bump steer issue. I have read that the height sensor could be bad. I am tired of replacing things on this lemon. Are there any other relays, sensors that has a relation with the height sensor in the ELC system?
