I wouldn't drive it until the valve covers are pulled off to see what the noise is. A loose rocker could be a possibility. Were the LIM gaskets replaced on the motor?

Gaskets were not replaced. Money was sorta an issue also didnt want to replace them now if they are going to be replaced down the road along with other things

Too rapid to be one piece of the upper valve train, IMO. It does kinda sound like my old SC did. Sure it'* not coming from the serpentine area?

Can you feel any vibrations?
could it be resonating from the flex plate....maybe loose torque converter?

If it was valvetrain noise, it should increase with engine speed. :?

What about your PCV valve?

I just went out and scoped it. It seriously is coming from the fuel rail lol. Put it up to the valve covers nothing out of the ordinary. Put it up to the charger, same. Put it up to the rail, thuck thuck thuck. I have not the slightest clue. Soes this make any sense? Also the vacumm modulater behind the charger (plugs into the tb) is pulseating. Like tink tink tink.

Yes, if i put my hand on the fuel rail i can feel it. No where else really.


Where is the pvc valve on the l67.

The PCV valve is right there under the black cap (2 bolts on top of the SC) just behind where the fuel lines couple to the fuel rail.

maybe its stupid what i will say but the fuel pump is for a L36 could it be the pump or a regulator going bad and pulseating in the fuel line

Just went outside. ...... More then a good possiblily it is the pvc valve. That is the area the noise is coming from and i can hear it with the scope there. So what would be wrong.... just a new pvc valve?
